EFLA Poland is involved in a significant new project, constructing the 400 kV transmission line between Dunowo and Piła Krzewina, Section II. Partnering with ROMGOS GWIAZDOWSCY, the project's general contractor, EFLA will provide comprehensive design and technical support for this essential 119-kilometer infrastructure.
Enhancing Poland's Energy Security Infrastructure
As a strategic investment by Poland's national grid operator, PSE, this transmission line aims to bolster Poland's energy security, support the stability and efficiency of the national grid, and enhance interconnectivity with neighbouring power systems. The new high-voltage line will play a critical role in enabling safe, reliable electricity transmission across the region, which is increasingly vital given the growing demand for resilient and sustainable energy networks.
EFLA will develop conceptual and detailed designs to meet functional and operational requirements, prepare technical documents for land acquisition, compile geotechnical reports, map updates, and geodetic assessments. Additionally, EFLA will oversee environmental compliance, create line passports and operational manuals, and draft demolition plans for any overlapping 220 kV lines, coordinating with existing asset owners to ensure seamless project integration.
This project underscores EFLA's commitment to advancing Europe's energy infrastructure and reflects its ongoing dedication to enhancing energy reliability and environmental stewardship through advanced engineering practices.
